“Where you going?” you heard your brother say from behind you
Turning you see him watching you expectantly “Out”
“Out? With who?” he said as if interrogating you
“None of your business” you said defiantly
“Excuse me?” he said in a sassy tone “As your brother it is every part of my business to know who you are going out with”
Rolling your eyes you sighed “My boyfriend alright?”
He gasped and put his hand to his chest dramatically “You have a boyfriend, and you didn’t tell me?!” he asked, his voice showing his offense.
“Yes, but I’m not telling you who it is” you said while opening the door to leave, just then Sophie walked in
“Sophie! Did you know y/n had a boyfriend!?”
Sophie looked at you, seeing the ‘don’t say anything’ look you gave her she looked back at him “I had no idea” she said feigning surprise
He turned back to you “Keeping secrets from everyone? Who is this guy?”
“If you’re as smart as you brag about all the time figure it out yourself” you said sending him a smirk and then walking out
The next morning after you had discussed the most recent job you would be taking Hardison raised his hands, signaling everyone to stay in their seats
“Now. Before yall go, I have a surprise”
You glanced at everyone, who all had an equally confused look as you did.
Hardison continued “Now, little miss secretive over here, as I’m sure none of you knew, has a boyfriend” he said glancing at you
“Oh God” you said putting your head on the table
“ooooh” Parker said in shock, everyone but Hardison knowing it was fake. Everyone but Hardison knew who your boyfriend was.
“Yes, now. You” he said pointing at you “Challenged me. You said that if I was smart I would figure out who this guy was myself, so that’s exactly what I did”
“Oh no” you said putting your face in your hands
“So, I hacked the GPS on your phone, got your location from last night and hacked into the security cameras and got this” he said playing the video of the bar you went to last night while still facing you.
You stared at the footage, you could see you and Eliot sitting at the bar, close together. Hardison, turning, froze when he saw it too.
“Is that...oh hell naw!” turning he looked at Eliot “Are you dating my sister?!”
“Umm...yes” he admitted
Hardison turned to you and the others, seeing the others having no reaction he stared at them “Why aren’t you guys freaking out?”
“Oh, I am, honestly its...shocking” Sophie said getting up and quickly leaving, Nate following her
“Yeah, shocking” Parker said, smiling at Hardison
“They all knew didn’t they?” he asked looking at you
“Yep” you said, feeling slightly guilty “But to be fair, you are the one who didn’t see it, I mean we haven’t exactly been...secretive” you said
Hardison had a couple flashbacks to times Eliot flirted with you, and how sometimes you sat a little too close. Sighing in defeat he turned and pointed at Eliot “You betrayed me, you-” he said, earning an eye roll from Eliot “And if you ever, ever, hurt her-”
“What? You’ll beat me up?” Eliot said amused
Hardison faltered “Well..no, she will, but I’ll be cheering her one, and boy I will make your life a living hell!”
Eliot stood to leave, giving you a squeeze of the shoulder and winking at you. Walking away he shouted back at Hardison “You already make my life a living hell Hardison”
“Why you little-” Hardison started by stopped when he heard you giggle “And you! You better tell me everything right now”
Smiling at him, you shook your head in amusement at your brother “Where do you want me to start?”
