If you could attend the wedding (or, if you prefer) the tenth anniversary party for any two fictional couples (couples you ship, don't have to be canon, even if they're obvious enough to practically be so) which would they be and why? What would you say if you gave a toast?
Typically I'd say John and Sherlock, but s3 basically gave us that if you can tilt your head sideways and see it that way. XD
Hmm who would have an awesome wedding... OH HERE'S A GOOD ONE. Eliot and Hardison (Leverage).
Imagine it; it could just be them and Sophie, Nate, and Parker, OR, somehow they could be convinced to invite Tara, Archie, Quinn, and maybe even Chaos (even if all he did was wolf whistle and cat-call at them until Hardison blew a gasket, which would be an interesting change since Eliot is usually the one who gets annoyed first). Who knows, maybe they would even invite some of their old clients, people whom they've helped and still kept contact with.
They'd look so handsome in their tuxes, and Eliot would keep his hair down (because Hardison says he likes it like that, so who is he to say no?), and Nate would be ordered to stay away from the bar by Sophie, and he'd just say 'of course' and smile at her because god, she looks so beautiful in that new dress.
Parker would spent a lot of time with Archie but she'd do her best to try and socialize, because Sophie said it's an important life skill and Sophie is (almost) always right about those sort of things. She'd spend a decent amount of time with Tara too, because even if she didn't like her back when she was part of the team, she did warm up to her eventually. Maybe a little more than she'd like to admit...
It's just a perfect little image to me. ;w; A small wedding out in the country somewhere, lots of fresh air, open fields and sunshine. Hardison complained about Eliot's choice in places until Eliot promised him that he could choose their honeymoon spot. Hardison instantly said Japan because all dat technology. Eliot rolled his eyes and shook his head, but hey, they could also visit all the historical sites. After all, it was his honeymoon too, dammit.
If I had to toast? Oh god I'm terrible at speeches. >< I'd probably say something short, with an ending along the lines of "I wish you guys all the luck in the world" and [for Hardison's amusement and benefit], "Live long and prosper." XD
Ohgosh I need to write an Elison wedding now. RIGHT FRIGGIN' NOW.
