What's up with the lesbian kick thing?

“Lesbian Kick” is something Atea randomly shouts as she suddenly appears out of nowhere to kick a Beaty contestant(blonde, of course) for saying marriage is between a man and a woman. He apparently thought this was so clever that he was going to try and sell posters and shirts of Atea doing the kick with the catchphrase. It’s one of the things he’s most infamous for and a perfect example of his pandering.

Is it worth finishing moffat’s BS or can I just skip. Last episode I saw was right before the end arc of series 6 lol

the new series seems to have dropped basically any plot threads from moffat’s run so i don’t think there’s anything you need to watch that bit to understand it now. you can basically just imagine series 4 ended with david tennant regenerating into jodie whittaker instead and you’ve missed nothing of importance

moffat’s run does have like, bits and episodes that are good, but the whole is very much less than the sum of its parts

You know for a self-proclaimed cartoonist he sure doesn't make as much new art as you'd think one might.

He only really started making comics again after Trump was elected. And those were just those political cartoons mainly. He only manages to get like 3-4 SYAC comics out in 6 months to a year.

“El No Lo Mato” by El Haragan ‘cause it’s about a kid who went in to steal a couple bucks from a small store and was shot and killed by the cops. It goes on to say that the cop was hailed a hero and got a medal but that he wasn’t at fault for the kid’s death because ultimately society, peer pressure, his parents, and other factors contribute to this kind of thing happening all the time. It’s a damn good song but dammit if i don’t end up with an existential crisis after listening to it hnnnngg. ((My dad says the part that gets him the most with this song is the line that warns parents to take care of their children so that hopefully this kind of thing never happens to them.))
