“OK, I get I’m new to this, but I do know how a scope works.”

“No, no—I don’t mean putting your eye up to the optics. I mean getting used to seeing through the scope, letting it become your eye. The more used to it you are, the less you have to adjust perspective every time you aim. You wanna get to the point where you just look through, and it still feels like looking normally.”

“I guess that makes sense.”

“Good. And that’s why we’re hardscoping for now. You cover the lane... and I’ll make sure nobody gets around from behind to distract you.”
