I got mad at history. Picked it up and fell in love with everything. A few simple lines on "Run from the Gun" hold an enormous weight as they channel back to the bloodlines of Nirvana and Neil Young. The song stands still 20 seconds in, but one listen to Walker Howle's loose twangy riffs as they bend around Hardy Morris' beautifully heartbreaking lyrics bring "Run from the Gun" to a much higher level.
