How would the RO's react jealously in a Harem with other LI's to MC?

Alright this one is a spoilery one, you see MC when becoming the ruler, well empress/emperor it will be "established" that just cannot happen but here's how it would manifest, so take a guess haha

Each vying for the favour of their shared MC, may feel jealousy and resentment toward one another. They might engage in subtle or overt acts of competition, trying to gain an edge in the affection of MC.

Might fuel manipulative behaviour, with some RO's resorting to schemes and intrigues to undermine their rivals and gain an advantage.

Some may form alliances against others, leading to potential betrayal and backstabbing.

It would be a really angsty route to take cause they all would be wives/husbands, so there would be certain resentment for like the first wife/husband of the MC, but it all would go down as to whom produces MC their first child, that would mostly go towards the wives.

Would all ROs like to sleep together in a bed sometimes or do they prefer to sleep on their own/only w/ the Monarch?

You know, I think the ROs in the harem route would enjoy having a big bed (or furs) available to sleep on together in the harem if they feel like it

How would the ROs act when they're jealous when the Monarch spends a lot of time with other/s RO?

I feel like this question deserves the right attention since this would probably happen at one point or another in the harem route. Even if the monarch is dedicated to all three consorts, sometimes feelings are not rational and can spill over without meaning to.

I am probably going to write short snippets about this later, but in general:

Naja: withdraws into themselves, thinking that now that you have two better functioning spouses it's only natural you'd end up overlooking them - the pretty but useless doll.

Valaahr: it's possible that they'll unintentionally be colder towards the monarch and the other consorts, being more distant but also more seductive (in a kind of teasing/aggressive way) towards MC. This would leave them ashamed of themselves, though, so they'll decide to have a heart to heart with the harem and MC.

Kaela: they would suppress the feeling until it became ugly and unavoidable. At that point, they would speak with the monarch because they value communication and they feel like bing reassured will help them

Not sure if this has been asked but in the harem route can we choose which RO's we want in the harem or will there be all of them?

You'll be able to choose whomever you want in the harem.

Hey author, first up your premise is really interesting perhaps got most of my interest out of all non demo wips honestly. Already invested in Naja they're precious. Curious though, can we get a little insight to how the harem route would look like? and does that have to include all Ros? I'm interested in all of them but also conflicting with not wanting to abandon Naja lol so wondering if harem may be best.

I am glad you sent in this questiom because I just wanted to talk about the Harem route for a second. Some things have changed slightly from the last time I talked about this, for now let's keep this post as reference.

The possible pairings inside the Harem Route are: Naja/Val/Kaela, Naja/Val or Naja/Kaela. Naja will always be part of it.

The structure is centered around the Monarch. This means that the ROs are only romantically involved with MC. (Valaahr might still have other sexual encounters even as a Consort, however)

Despite this, the ROs involved in the Harem route will come to deeply care for eachother. Their relationship might not be a sexual but they will still come to care and have moments between each others. It's simply difficult from what they have with MC.

At last, just keep in mind that even in the monogamous routes with Val or Kaela, you will never abandon Naja, as they'll always remain your Consort. You simply won't have a romantic relationship with them.
