Joker doesn’t feel any real sense of regret. As a true agent of chaos he can’t because he believes everything he does is fair even if he ends up on the short end of a deal. A rarity but it does happen. Often times even his failures work out for him in the end, anyways, he wouldn’t be alive otherwise. Sometimes you can see him pause and wonder if he really should have done that, considering further into the situation he created. Those moments, however, are brief and fleeting because it takes him seconds to refill his twisted confidence in himself. It would be boring for him if everything always went according to plan so even his screw ups are never really mistakes. They just make it all more interesting with no rhyme or reason..

      when koriand’r was first born, komand’r didn’t HATE her, she actually loved her more than she would ever admit these days. when koriand’r was first born, komand’r saw her as a piece of her heart. someone who she would grow up, the only other person who could ever truly relate to what was on her shoulders. only when komand’r was old enough to realize how much more kori was liked than she was, that she could fight and her own people preferred kori to herself -- did the growing hatred on her youngest sister starter.

To a point but it was more like how a child missed a toy only after someone else had picked it up.
