My creative juices are back, guys
Imagine Harlow Doyle being hired on an adultery case
Why is Harlow so lucid in The Ties that Bind? Like specifically the scene in J&J Antiques. It's almost eerie how normal he is.
A: Ahhh, now I can eat my breakfast!
B: It's nearly time for dinner...
A: Hey, you can eat PopTarts (TM) any time of the day!
Harlow has (had) a Get Smart lunchbox!
Harlow: You're not gonna believe this. I've just been talking on the phone for a half hour, and guess what?
Connie: You forgot to dial first?
Harlow: No.
Bernard: You held the receiver upside down?
Harlow: No.
Bernard: It wasn't even the phone, it was the TV remote control?
Harlow: No
Tom: A shoe?
Some of my earliest memories were of dragging my cd player around the house with me so I could listen to Adventures in Odyssey
Around the time I was learning to read I could quote whole portions of my favorite episodes
During 5th grade I binge-listened to Eugene Meltsner's entire saga
Around middle school I began peppering peculiar Eugene and Harlow-isms into my everyday speech
In high school I catalogued every funny Eugene quote (with translations) in my AiO trivia book
Will Ryan has been with me for quite literally my entire life. From beat up cassettes to cds to my little mp3 player to now my phone. His voice and personality and characters and music have carried me through life. I only regret that they won't carry me any further, and now I'll have to go on without them. Without this voice that's been with me my whole life, like a warm hug and the feeling of coming home. I wish I'd had the chance in this world to thank him, and tell him how much he meant to me. I feel now as if I'm going out into this world a little more alone. If I could tell him anything, all I would say is thank you.
Will Ryan, you will be missed. I'll meet you in eternity.
