|| I just realized that my new hc I’ve been playing with that the Crystal Heart manifested/threw itself into pony form in the form of Cadance really gels well with @harmonyandsadness having Muse represent to Elements of Harmony. Both sisters are avatars of these powerful artifacts. That’s so cool.

Capper was confused. Maybe even a bit baffled. The gist he’d gotten in his short amount of time spent in Equestria thus far was that the little ponies who had both a horn and a pair of wings were all some type of royalty and powerful to boot.

He’d seen three besides Twilight at the friendship festival, but the cat had to do a double take as seemingly out of nowhere he saw another one.

“So uhh... just how many of your kind are there?” He blurted out whilst looking at Muse, completely skipping over the suave introduction he probably should have given first before saying something so admittedly dumb sounding to a stranger. This was just all new to him.

             °☆.。  “believe  me  ,  princess  ,  when  i  say  that  i  appreciate  your  concern,”  twilight  replied  ,  “but  i   assure  you  that  i  CAN  handle  this  alone.  you  needn’t  put  yourself  in  harms  way  for  no  reason.  as  the  CURRENT  bearer  of  harmony  ,  it’s  my  duty  to  protect  you  and  our  fellow  ponies.  let  me  do  this.”  °☆.。         °☆.。  of  course  ,  noble  as  twilight’s  intentions  were  ,  she  WAS  being  a  tad  reckless.  the  dark  magic  leftover  from  the  pony  of  shadows  still  lingered  and  lurked.  she  had  tasked  HERSELF  with  tracking  the  magical  beast  down  ,  even  despite  her  lack  of  friends  beside  her.  (  she  couldn’t  risk  their  well beings  when  the  threat  had  been  more  than  they  could  bear  last  time.  better  one  than  six.  )  °☆.。

            °☆.。  “i’ve  dealt  with  matters  like  this  countless  times  now.  i  promise  i  will  be  fine.”  °☆.。

Between the noise and the metal clasped around her neck and hooves, Opalescent Pearl kept the heavy scowl on her muzzle.  She would often kick at the controlled guards when they came near, the mare letting out angry squeals and snorts as she tried to strike them with her hooves.  

The sound of hoof steps approaching caused the mare’s ears to swivel forward, her breathing harsh and heavy as she shot an icy glare at the newcomers.  Her breath nearly hitched as she noticed the shadow king, but she looked over at other one--one of her own kind--glancing her way and asking her a question.  She was about to lash at the other before noticing the king’s gaze, Pearl finally diverting her gaze to refuse eye contact as she snorted heavily.

        ❝Opalescent Pearl,” she spat, her irises finally flicking up to           look at the other with a disapproving gaze.  If looks could kill,           Pearl’s would as it was laced with pure hatred and disappointment.            Her ears remained flat against her skull as she looked over           at King Sombra, shifting her weight to move away from him           while keeping her gaze locked on the other mare, finally spitting           out her venom-laced words,  “Filthy traitor.  You’re a disgrace.❞

Underneath the gentle, pale light of a golden harvest moon. The Princess’  Nightmare Night celebration continued onward in predicted success. The beautiful crystal halls simply buzzed with the echoing sounds of laughter, loud orchestric music and rushed hoof steps. The costumed guests drinking and dancing the night away as if they were all going to the underworld in a hay basket.. 

In the middle of all this activity and constant movement. One particular guest simply rested on a lounge pillow and watched. Enjoying her drink while idly answering a stranger’s rather naive question to her,

“Why, I’m dressed as Poison Ivy of course. Oh? Never heard of her? Well just come a little closer my dear and I’ll show you what she’s really well known for..Heheheheh.”

[[ Anyway @harmonyandsadness Is hosting a little Nightmare night contest so I decided to throw my hat in and drew Double Delight dressed as everyone’s favorite Eco terrorist Poison Ivy from the Batman franchise. I hope this will count as an entry. If not, well at least my tablet got some attention today. X3]]
