18. A favorite Ilya quote?

Oh there are so many cause he's funny as fuck but one that sticks with me and makes me giggle a lot is in 1221. The whole "does touching your ass make you gay? Cause you know what else makes you gay? Sucking my dick" moment. Omg I die everrryy tiimmeee. So good.

19. A favorite Shane quote?

Again, so many to choose from. I love this boy. A lot. Gonna have to go with a more serious one, when he says "I don't think I can pretend I don't like you anymore" in Tampa. I relate to it sooooo much. I'm really bad at pretending to feel things and I just love that Shane reaches a point where he knows he can't fight what he's feeling for Ilya anymore. That whole All-Stars weekend is actually perfection. Shane is so brave and so relentless in his pursuit of Ilya now that he's finally realized he's gay and Ilya is the man for him. Ugghhhh I love them so much.

another book rec for when you are ready: i just read the woman from the waves by roslyn sinclair and looooved it. basically a lady water horse spirit becomes obsessed w this nun and wants to eat her (like literally eat) bc she deems the nun “worthy” so she shapeshifts into a human to get close to her but then oops they end up just falling in love and fucking nasty instead (with a lot of plot in between points a and b)
