:) narry as kids?
Harry peeked from behind the corner, staring at the strange boy in his house. He frowned when the boy began to wander around. Harry spied on the boy from behind- noting the boy's dark brown hair- and tried to come up with a plan to get him to leave.
Maybe I can ask nicely, and he'll go, Harry thought to himself. His mum had always taught him to be kind to everyone, especially people he didn't know. However, those thoughts were soon pushed out of his mind when he caught the stranger opening a small bag of crisps- his crisps.
He angrily went straight up to the boy and ripped the bag out of his grasp. "These are mine." Harry said sternly, glaring. The boy simply looked up in confusion- innocent blue eyes blinking in surprise.
"'M sorry, I didn't mean ta make you mad..." the stranger apologized, eyes downcast. The Irish accent slightly intrigued the curly haired boy, who had never met anyone with such a voice before. Harry immediately felt bad. He couldn't stand someone being sad, let alone being the reason for someone's sadness.
Harry's response was softer and kinder. "It's okay. Maybe we can share. My names Harreh." The boy's face instantly brightened.
"I'm Niawl!" he exclaimed joyfully. "I like crisps!"
"Niall? Niall?" Harry's mum, Anne, called. She entered the kitchen and spotted the boys. "Oh, there you are Niall! I see you've met Harry." She smiled as they nodded happily. Anne turned to Harry and spoke.
"Harry, Niall will be coming over for a while- his mummy needed someone to take care of him. Can you show him your toys?" she asked.
"Yes, mummy!" Harry replied, green eyes alight with excitement. He grabbed Niall's hand and ran to his room. "Come on, Niawl, let's go!"
And the two boys laughed and played together all day. Their new and long friendship had just begun.
