Just The Way You Are Fan Fic Part 7 (Niall/Harry)

-On Holiday in Italy-

“Alright, bye mom. I love you!” Lilli said as she kissed her mom on the cheek.

“Bye, I love you. Be safe. Harry take good care of her. Don’t let her out of your sight,” Lana sais as she hugged and kissed Harry on the cheek.

“I promise you she will be safe. I won’t let her out of my sight. Love you Momma Lana!” Harry said as he picked up his girlfriends bags to load them in the back of his Range Rover.

“Okay, you two be good. I love you Lilli and be safe. Do not leave Harry’s side,” Robert said as he hugged his daughter goodbye.

“I won’t Dad. I promise. Harry won’t let anything bad happen to me. I love you!” Lilli said laughing.

“You’ve got that right. She’s not going anywhere without me,” Harry said taking a hold of Lilli’s hand. Lilli’s dad laughed as he shook Harry’s hand and embraced him in the ‘man hug.’

“Remember what we talked about. Love you, son. Be safe,” Robert told Harry.

“I remember, sir,” Harry said with a smile.

“Promise me you’ll bring me back something!!” Bella exclaimed, pointing at Lilli.

“I promise. Love you! Be good,” Lilli said hugging her little sister. Lilli’s family and Harry all gathered and prayed for a safe journey. After they said their final goodbyes, they were off.

“Okay, first stop…Helen’s house!” Lilli laughed.

“Niall said that they were ready. This is going to be the best vacation ever! You want to know why?” Harry asked with a wink.

“Why?” Lilli urged him to go on.

“Because I get to spend it with my favorite girl,” Harry said with one hand on the wheel and one hand intertwined with Lilli’s. She looked at him lovingly and smiled a big grin. She turned on the radio and John Mayer’s version of “Free Falling” was playing.

“Oh! I love this song!” Lilli exclaimed, turning up the radio.

“She’s a good girl, loves her momma, loves Jesus, and America too,” Harry sang to her and squeezed her hand. Being in a band was definitely an advantage in this situation.

“She’s a good girl, crazy bought Elvis, loves horses, and her boyfriend too,” Lilli sang as she looked over at Harry smiling and playing with his fingers.

“I didn’t know you sang,” Harry smiled.

“Well, I guess it’s just one of those hidden talents,” Lilli joked.

“Well are there anymore ‘hidden talents’ you haven’t told me about?” Harry asked, teasing her.

“You’ll find out soon enough,” she teased back. They pulled into Helen’s driveway where Helen and Niall were saying their goodbyes. Harry hopped out to help load the bags. Niall and Helen said goodbye one last time then hopped in the car.

“Helen! Your dress is so cute! I love it!” Lilli exclaimed.

“Awwe, thank you! Yours is adorable!” Helen replied.

“Niall! I love your shirt!” harry said, mocking the girls. Niall and Helen laughed as Lilli elbowed Harry in the ribs with a smirk on her face. “Oh you know I am just kidding,” Harry said smiling.

“So, Helen, I know we haven’t even left the country yet but when we get there do you want to go get a manicure? The hotel has a lovely spa. I spent all night in awe looking at the pictures,” Lilli asked.

“Ohhh! That sounds amazing. I’d love that!” Helen nodded in agreement.

“Well, what are Harry and I supposed to do while you ladies are getting pampered?” Niall asked.

“Yeah!” Harry said laughing.

“Uh, well, you could come with us,” Lilli winked, “or you could spend some ‘man time’ together and play a game of FIFA or something. It shouldn’t take very long.” Both Harry and Niall nodded in agreement.

“Can’t go wrong with FIFA,” Niall added as he opened a bag of chips and started munching on them.

Harry turned the radio back up and “What Makes You Beautiful” was blaring through the speakers. Lilli and Helen looked at one another with a glint in their eyes. Harry reached to change the station but was stopped before he could get to it.

“Oh no you don’t,” Lilli laughed, “let us show you boys what we used to do when we listened to this song.”

Harry looked at Niall through the rearview mirror, “this should be interesting,” Niall said.

“You’re insecure, don’t know what for. You’re turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or!” Lilli and Helen belted out the words as loudly as they could. They were dancing around in their seats and the boys eventually joined in. Harry sang his heart out during the next verse while Niall held Helen’s hand and was serenading her in the backseat.

The windows were down and the sun roof was open all the way. They jammed the whole way to the airport, laughing the whole way.

“Hey Niall will you grab my camera bag?” Harry hollered as he got out all the luggage. He had his sleeves rolled up and his muscles were showing through his white v-neck that fit just right.

“It still kills me when he rolls his sleeves up like that,” Lilli whispered to Helen.

“Oh, I know! Every time I look at Niall and see his eyes I just melt,” Helen sighed as she whispered back. Harry was eyeing Lilli suspiciously.

“What are you two girls talking about?” Harry asked with a wink as he picked up his and Lilli’s bags.

“Oh, nothing,” Lilli blushed a deep red and giggled. He handed her her backpack, gave her a quick peck on the head, and grabbed her hand. Niall did the same with Helen.

As they made their way to the baggage check a huge smile came across Harry’s face.

“Well, what do ya know. Who would have thought that a month later I’d be coming back here with you and calling you my girlfriend,” Harry laughed as he looked at Lilli with loving eyes.

As they walked through baggage check the security lady immediately recognized them.

“Well, hello again. Are you two together now?” She joked.

“Yes, ma’am,” Harry said squeezing Lilli’s hand and smiling.

“Well isn’t that lovely. You really do make a fiiiine couple.”

“Thank you. I wanted to thank you for saying the things you did the last time we were here. If it weren’t for you, I don’t think I would’ve had the guts to go after her,” harry said with a sheepish smile.

“Well you’re very welcome. Best of luck to you two. Have a safe flight,”

Niall was deep in thought when Helen interrupted him, “whatcha thinking about, babe?” She asked.

“Oh nothing. Just that if Harry and Lilli hadn’t run into each other right here in this very spot, we wouldn’t be together. We wouldn’t even know each other.”

Helen smiled, “I know. It’s crazy.” She held onto Niall’s hand even tighter.

“Hey, let’s take a picture,” Niall said. Helen smiled in agreement. Just as Helen was about to take the picture, Niall leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. Helen nudged Niall playfully while he just grinned, so proud of his little maneuver. The picture was amazing. Helen was laughing and had a beautiful smile on her face and Niall was smiling through the kiss.

“Holiday with my princess,” Niall tweeted with the picture attached.

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

“Zayn says ‘cute picture! Have fun love birds ;) xxx’”

Helen blushed. This was going incredible. She was going on vacation with her amazing boyfriend and her best friend. She said a quick thank you to God.

“I’ve got a surprise for you when we get there,” Niall whispered in Helen’s ear.

“You do?”

“I do. But you won’t find out until we get there,” Niall teased her. Helen stuck out her bottom lip and did her best baby pout. Needless to say, Niall didn’t budge.
