Harry and Roxy going undercover as lovers and being so convincing that Eggsy is like "I guess I missed my window, but Roxy is so fantastic so I can't hate her for Harry wanting her & not me" and resigns himself to unrequited pining forever.

S C R E A M I N G. OH MY GOSH, THERE’S SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR SMUT AND ANGST AND UGH YES.

But all the while, when Harry and Roxy turn in for the night in their house and have turned their glasses off for the evening, the two of them start talking about lovers and marriage. They start of general because “look at this weird situation we’re in, I wonder what it’s like with someone you love” and then ofc the obligatory, “have you ever loved someone? / can you even love someone as a spy?” and one or both of them talking in generalities about who they love and getting dopey looks on their faces. Roxy would probably be the first to admit about Merlin, and Harry would admit about Eggsy maybe a few weeks before the end of their assignment.

But then they get back and Eggsy is suddenly really strained around the both of them and they can’t figure out why. Roxy just wants her friend back but Harry thinks he’s screwed up any chance at a relationship before it’s even started and just lots of pining and broken hearts.  And maybe Eggsy walks in on Merlin and Roxy who manage to get their shit together first, and is really torn because Roxy is his friend but so is Harry, and Harry deserves to know she’s cheating on him.

And i just gets worse and worse until Eggsy completely has a breakdown and confronts one of them, and then cue lots of fluff and love and kisses and sex.
