It’s Officially the Holiday Season
I just bought more than half my family gift list at Harry & David.
I also managed to find something not sweet for my sister (who is opting to NOT want chocolate this year, so I found her some instant soups). We will not discuss how many years it took for my sister to understand that Harry & David is a mail order gourmet food company and not ‘a gay couple I know.’
Prices have gone up, but I am not faulting the company for inflation and shortages. Everyone is getting a smaller gift this year except for Cousin Manga who can’t really afford to get himself nice things and like me no longer has parents or a partner, so I try to look out for him.
No idea what to get for Cousin Weasel, who has autism and is low functioning. No word on if he even liked the glow in the dark dinosaur blanket last year. Will have to make my annual phone call to ask what he wants/needs because I don’t want to make it hard on the caregivers in his group home, and I don’t want to not do something, but no, I won’t be visiting because I live several states away with a geriatric cat.
The cheesecake that my hubby had in his birthday :* bought it for my sweetie <3 Thank you so much Harry & David for a good service.
