"Reeny, Emmy, Mila, Eli, I saw what chu are doing there."
I actually graduated without college debt, but I now need a masters or a phd to actually get a job. So I feel you, even though my father's background states I should have no issues getting a job (you know he's well off so I should be well off). Nah, I'm struggling to get labs to give me the time of day even with a really nice Genetics/Bioscience degree. Sometimes I just feel living with my 9 dollar an hour job is easier, but I gotta keep moving-- I hoe you do too.
You're lucky you don't have debt to worry about. I've opted out of paying it for a year because I don't make enough to qualify needing to, which is really sad. And on top of that, NYS just upped the minimum wage from $7.25 to $8.00, which makes me sick since I only get paid $8.00 an hour. I can't even feel a little better for being paid higher than the wage, since it's not like they will raise our salaries based on that or anything.
Sometimes I wish I was better at what was needed, like medical-based work. I want to do something obscure, and when I tell people, they just look at me like I made the worst decision ever in my education. I'm not ashamed at all for what I went for, or what I accomplished. I'd like anyone to tell me to my face that grad school is easy. I busted my ass and ended up with a 3.9 GPA. But none of that actually matters in the real world. They want the credentials next to your name and direct experience. Not if you were a good student or not.
It is beyond frustrating when you have a 2-page resume with all sorts of accolades, and none of it seems to matter to employers.

Well I don’t recommend rice krispies treats, but you can try those, I was thinking like the rice krispie cereal— sans milk since lactose seems to aggravate the stomach and the stomach acid, hence the weight, we use this a lot in acid reflux newborns
i only ask cause i don't think i have rice krispies but i do have rice krispies treats readily available lol.
excellent excellent though i'll see if we can pick some up on my way to work so i can snack on them if the tums don't work!!
