For those of you who did not know, today was my graduation ceremony. I graduated in the fall but wanted to walk. I did walk from the kitchen to the couch, but there was no physical stage due to unforseen circumstances. Today, I leave Hartnell College with a transfer degree in Digital Arts. I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I have received for the past few years. It hasn't been easy to juggle school, work, and life. But I did it! As I have been telling myself since high school: "Walt Disney never gave up. Why should I?" I pushed on and prevailed! You'll be happy to know that as of March 9th, I have been furthering my Graphic Design and Digital Arts education at Bellevue University thanks to the Disney Aspire Program and the Walt Disney Company. My journey has only just begun. In fact, I wrap up my first online class tomorrow.
