harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?

I always do not know how to answer to this type of question, because up until now I don’t think there’s any single fictional character I can wholeheartedly relate to. :/

maple - is there a hobby / skill that you’ve always wanted to try but never did?

Music! I’ve always wanted to try learning music but being born into a family that doesn’t value art in any way possible or just didn’t care to nurture their child if they’re interested in learning a new skill whatsoever, I was thrown into religious studies, English, science and mathematics. My parents just thought art stuff is just a hobby, and never realizing that a hobby could be turned into a career.

This ended up in a small rant lol thanks for the ask :D

I was able to commission @harumeau for my main Wayfarer, Saraia "Sai" Sero, from @idrellegames and I've been grinning widely since I got it!

The Rona days were a bit rough, as you can see from Sai's expression and the visible mending, but the process to get here on my end was very smooth and lovely at least. I think she's probably worried about finding the Chalice, and she's out in the rain to hide her worries from Aeran. And to escape the smell in Oleander's.

What do you like or find compelling about Solas’ character?

I started DA:I thinking “lol what a weird bald dude.” By the end of the game I was utterly devastated as he broke my heart and betrayed me. I’ve never really recovered. The depth of his character fascinates me. I love the tragedy in his conviction to do what he believes is right, even if it means the end of the world. He’s passionate about ending oppression. He’s compassionate, loves learning, and cares for his friends, even if he seems aloof and distant at first. He’s one of the most well written, complex villains I’ve ever seen in any media. He’s been an inspiration since my first playthrough and he’s one of my all time favorite characters. Plus he’s a mythical wolf god disguised as a nerdy mage with a sexy voice, so…I rest my case. 

What do you think is going to happen in DA4?

We’ll have to fight the Evanuris because they’re all corrupted and blighted. It will have something to do with red lyrium. At least, that’s something I’d like to see. Scary monster mage gods, please!

What do you love about being a writer/artist/comic artist?

I enjoy drawing characters in a way that portrays their emotions. I want people to connect with them and maybe get some joy out of it (or pain, angsty art can be fun too). If someone tells me I made them feel something with my work then I’ve done my job right. Also art is pretty and I like making pretty things!
