(1994) Pocky & Rocky 2
this is just severely pleasant. like a cool breeze on a summer day.
example: “Bridge Over Kappa River”
even the more “tense” stuff is still pretty chill. I dig it.

Made some of these for my OCs. Haruou is a different age in these because that's the age that he gets into each relationship
I guess I never posted this one but here's Haruou in color since I haven't posted that here before? This is a younger Haruou though, also doubles as one of the vampire versions I have as him too. Yeah his hair is normally longer, he looks nice with short hair though
This is from 10-22-21 I guess?
And then to end off my ultimate comfort character Haruou. I'm literally so genius for creating my own comfort character like I will really be there for myself
A Haruou and a Maharu I did today in sai.
I put some lyrics from Father Figure here because I was listening to the song recently and it seemed like the kind of song that Maharu would want Haruou to sing to her. So I think that Haruou was performing the song at some point and Maharu was in the audience possibly just now realizing her attraction to him. I'm sure it also inspired her to start songwriting so that she could write songs that she personally wanted to hear Haruou sing and pretend he was saying it to her. I need to draw some other characters at some point lol I am getting too caught up in these 2 all the time. But who's going to stop me? Exactly. Anyway this is a good song for them because Haruou already is in a bit of a father role to Maharu? I don't know I think I'm only saying that because she didn't have a father (or mother...and neither did he but) and so he'd be the only male in her life for a while but yeah since he's 3 years older than her he was really not fathering her at any point. But I'm sure he'd be happy to, as the song says, just do anything that she'd want him to. But yeah anyway I kind of did a great job on these pictures so everybody clap
This song is perfect for Haruou... when I first heard it I was honestly shocked at how every single lyric related to him. The calm sort of vibe to the song helps that too. But yeah, Haruou has had a lot of problems emotionally connecting to people, he's accustomed to being used like an object and not having his feelings considered at all. All he wants is to have someone that he can truly confide in without being judged. He's consumed by his past basically and now that he has more people in his life he doesn't feel that he can share any of that with them. He pursued a lot of romantic relationships during and after his time as a prostitute but he struggled with essentially still feeling like he existed for the other person. That's how I kind of interpret the line "there's a liar in my head, and there's a thief upon my bed" because really it isn't necessarily true that the people Haruou dated or had sex with didn't care about him, it was just his past experiences manipulating his view of the relationship, and there's a thief in the bed because yeah that's pretty literal in my interpretation, I think overall the song is supposed to be about a guy who has been hurt over and over again, but there was always someone there to support him that he just didn't realize since he was being hurt far more than he was being helped and then at the end of the song he does realize. So then with respect to Haruou, the last part of the song is where he has the realization that the only person he can imagine a future with is Maharu because she has always tried to understand and help him and she knows a lot more of his past than other people. He realizes that she's the only one he's ever connected with and yeah the ending of the song is great for that because he went through so many romantic and sexual relationships trying to find that emotional security when he should have known all along that he could've gotten that from Maharu. And subconsciously he was a lot more open with her and felt extremely protective of her but I don't know if he had figured out that that's what was going on. This song is so beautiful and I'm glad that I decided to look more into the rest of George Michael's discography because my dad has a few of his CDs (including as wham) but not this one.
