Startup Career Fair: Top 10
Do you consider yourself an entrepreneur? Have you always been intrigued by the idea of startups? The Startup Career Fair is the best opportunity of the year to network with organizations in the field and to see if startup culture is the right fit for you. These employers are looking for people to get in on the ground floor! There are a whopping 82 organizations attending this fair, and to pique your interest, here is a look at 10:
1. CELLINO - Cellino is engineering human-like cells and tissues for replacement therapies. Our team of engineers, scientists, and industry veterans are building the next pillar of the regenerative medicine industry. They have summer and term-time paid internships and full-time positions available to all years and degrees.
2. Bevi - Bevi believes that how you stay healthy and hydrated is your choice to make. They also believe that you shouldn’t have to choose between what’s good for you and what’s good for the environment. They’re on a mission to replace mass-produced bottled beverages with custom drinks mixed at the point of use. They are looking for juniors, seniors and graduate students to fill various summer and full-time opportunities.
3. Empatica - Empatica creates groundbreaking AI systems that are friendly, caring and more human. Through this wearable technology, they strive to understand human behavior, empowering patients, clinicians and researchers driven by physiological behavioral biomarkers. Their clients are among the most distinguished universities, hospitals, companies, and charities in the world. Empatica is looking for juniors, seniors and master’s students to fill term-time internships and full-time positions.
4. News and News - News and News is an independent and non-partisan news source that strives to be your antidote to the biased and made-up news epidemic. They bring you updated, impartial, and reliable information, all day, every day. Their team of real people based in the U.S., Europe, and Asia decide what we post, while constantly reviewing news sources across the political spectrum. Every article selected is analyzed to ensure News and News reflects our complex and ever-changing world. They are looking for juniors and seniors to fill summer, term-time and full-time roles.
5. Skydio - Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Redwood City, CA, Skydio is a self-flying robotics company from the co-founders of Google[X]'s Project Wing. The core of our system is the computer vision algorithms that allow drones to understand the world around them. This technology will ultimately enable many of the most valuable drone applications for consumers and businesses over the coming years. Skydio is searching for juniors, seniors, graduates and grad students to fill their range of internships and full-time positions in technology.
6. Smoodi - smoodi aims to make people happier and healthier by providing fresh and customized smoothies through its proprietary, self-cleaning smoothie machine. Imagine a Nespresso for smoothies! They are looking for seniors graduate students and graduate alumni to fill internship and full-time positions.
7. Solstice - Solstice was founded on the belief that every American household can be powered by affordable renewable energy. By deploying community solar, Solstice works for greater energy equity and a future in which clean energy works for every American household, regardless of income level, credit score, or any other factor. Given the opportunity, every American will be more inclined to take part in the renewable energy revolution. They make it their job to create those opportunities. They need sophomores, juniors, seniors, Alumni or master’s students to fill their paid internship positions and full-time roles.
8. TB12 - TB12 is transforming global health & wellness by empowering athletes to prevent injury, improve longevity, and raise their peak performance. Inspired by the training method of 3-time NFL MVP and 6-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady, TB12 delivers personalized, comprehensive programming to a worldwide audience. The TB12 Method integrates revolutionary concepts in deep-force muscle pliability work, hydration, nutrition, functional strength & conditioning, and cognitive health. We support athletes through an omni-channel approach that incorporates physical locations, immersive digital experiences, and innovative functional products. TB12 is seeking alumni from across the University to fill their paid internship and full-time opportunities.
9. Vincere Health - Vincerehealth uses remote monitoring devices, behavioral data and financial incentives to help people quit smoking and get healthier. They are open to all students and offer paid and unpaid internships for summer and term-time. Full-time positions are also open.
The Startup Career Fair is on Friday, February 14th from 1-4pm at the Harvard Innovation Lab (very on brand). The event is open to all Harvard University students.
