5 Facts about Harvie Lavellan
She has twin siblings, a brother and a sister who are four years older than her. Her sister is mtf trans, so she was a big help when her little sister started questioning her sexuality/queerness. Ever since then the two have been extremely close.
She’s really bad with the bow and arrow. Which is kind of a bad thing for a hunter. After being attacked by a crazed wolf during her apprentice days, she sustained scars to her face as she was unable to defend herself.
After the wolf attack, she went to her sister, who was the craftsman’s apprentice, and had her make a pair of daggers. Harvie then taught herself how to fight and hunt with them. From then on out, she used them on all of her expeditions, which was quite a sight to behold.
She was the only ginger elf in her clan. Her father and siblings all have strawberry blonde hair, but nothing as fiery as Harvie’s. The orange hair is a recessive gene in her family, but hadn’t been seen in several generations.
Harvie is quite devout in her faith. She believes in the dalish gods and what they stand for. But she also respects other religions, and doesn’t discount the fact that they could either overlap, or all exist at the same time. While she stands firmly in what she believes, she doesn’t force her views on anyone; her faith is a personal matter and she doesn’t feel the need to preach to anyone.
