how foolish i was to think that maybe i was finally chosen.

behind every moment i suck up and act like im okay; is a nine year old girl who grew up being the backup.

i think im the girl before the wife. the one that teaches them how to be kind men and that loving a girl openly is a strength and not the weakness their middle school friends made it out to be. i'm the experience – the one they have any firsts with and paves the way through territory not yet tread, so that when the right girl comes around they dont screw it up.
