So I showed a person I've been playing xiv with your blog and they have been yelling that Kefka should have muscles. I think hes a twink clown. Thoughts???

Now, the sprites are hard to go by, most sprites look the same, kind of top-heavy, scrawny type legs, it was best they could do, really. A lot of images take the top-heaviness to be cloaks and fabric:
The top image is from Dissidia, the second is from the PS1 Final Fantasy Anthology version. Here's a couple more images from the PS1 version:
As you can see, he's got a very gaunt face, very high cheeks, and a very thin neck. I don't think muscle-clown is a very appropriate look for this guy. Your friend may have been thinking of this:
