@hasscutobi​ has sought: Headcanon question time!!!! Of all the servants she’s met at Chaldea or across various summonings, who does she respect most, be it within her own class, or any servant in general? Is there anyone she fears?

SLAPS DIARMUID UA DUIBHNE’S CHEST. This man can fit in so much suffering. 

I’m kidding. Arturia does hold Diarmuid in high regard because of their common ground as knights and, well, appealing to each other’s chivalrous codes. Despite their very shrewd masters, the two of them managed to uphold their honour and duel on their own terms for quite a long time. Until, you know, Kiritsugu forced Kayneth to dispose of Lancer in the most humiliating fashion. The Holy Grail War was sadly never a place for honour and victory MUST be attained at all costs. Their relationship, though budding and a breath of fresh air for two tragic heroes, was never meant to be. Arturia acknowledges Diarmuid’s skill as a knight and a hero as much as his honour as a knight. I’m sure it is the same vice versa, tbh. Which is why I really enjoy their dynamic.

ANYWAY, I wouldn’t say she outright fears some Servants — disturbed, perhaps. You know, with anti-heroes summonable. And some Servants are known for their horrible moral code. Coughs. The Servants she’s genuinely afraid of interacting with is probably those of her era: Knights of the Round Table ( Where she is happy to see Bedivere, she would not know how to handle Lancelot in Chaldea. ) or even, her alter selves. Scratch that, I think she’d be more fearful of the latter because it is a part of her, without a doubt.
