Though there was a momentary silence in processing, BB's mood was quick to change just a little as Bran's kiss passed through her mind, seeing his attempt at mischief and grinning in turn.

"I'd call you a fool, but we know this already. Anyhow I think you've earned this. Savor the feeling, my enamored little master."

we really dont talk enough about how fucked up it is that bb in fgo is the actual extra/ccc bb who cant ever return to hakuno, and then in fgo is also the only person left who knows that guda already did die once. luluhawa makes a lot more sense when you consider that it's basically a rehash of her plan in extra/ccc of trapping hakuno in a timeloop only this time with her direct hand in it to make sure everything works out

Shaking her head at that back-handed compliment, she shakes her head with a small smile. For as much as she knows there was an insult in there–Tessa far preferred for BB to honest with her. It was a trait she enjoyed, really. Still, as she looks up from her lap–The blonde blinks owlishly.

“…BB?”

Hands folded over her stomach as she gazes upwards–She tried to search for the words to say. 

“Is…..something on your mind?”

“...Maybe.” Was also she had to say on it in a rather curt manner. Seems thinking of the Moon Cell in a reflective sense rather than flaunting her power had her shut up a little. But it was better than trying to contain its massive workload in herself and feeling it blot her emotions. The only cost of that is knowing she doesn’t function like a normal servant, and the retroactive feeling that what’s been done isn’t something she can take back. Even if both her and her enemy came back in minorly different forms, what she really wanted no longer exists for her. 

“Tell me something, my sleepless little master. Have you ever felt something in your grasp for so long, that you know that you can bring it happiness. But instead all it feels is pain. And the moment you let go everything comes back to bite you? It’s...a strange feeling. And yet it’s something I have to wonder about. If that thing is actually happy with me gone.”

Glancing upwards, towards the window on this rare clear night–She can actually see the stars, just like she used to back in Naples. Looking towards BB, she felt her cheeks tint a little seeing her pat her lap. Coughing into her gloved hand as if it might alleviate the embarrassment she felt–She eventually lay her head to rest there.

“–Er,….Thank you.”

“Don’t think too much of it. Just a little devil’s courtesy for seeing how a human so wound up it’s a wonder you’re able to walk can command so many. Well done.” And a tiny clap to that, the AI seems content to mix insult and compliment for her master as they view the night together. She could just barely make out the moon herself and...

strangely enough, reach out for it. Before catching herself and wondering why. Old memories of her previous iteration maybe. But all the same, there’s something to it that was hard to ignore. And how could she as the former authority of the moon anyhow?
