This week Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing suggesting that the President is not upholding his constitutional duty to enforce immigration laws, even as this administration has deported people in record numbers. Congressman Luis Gutierrez called them out for having another "do-nothing hearing in this do-nothing Congress." He told them that if they did not act on immigration reform, he and others would insist the President act to address the deportation crisis.
