House Republican Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin responded “YES!” to a tweet highlighting that 17 million people will lose healthcare and that 18 million kids will lose school meals.

Orden was one of the House Republicans that voted for Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” Act set to cut social safety net programs for low income Americans.

He has now deleted the tweet.

The irony of house Republicans and Democrats voting on a bill that condemns socialism on the same day that Donald Trump fell in love with Zohran Mamdani, a self proclaimed democratic socialist, and said that he thinks that he will be a "great mayor", and defended him against the many gotcha questions that the reporters threw at Zohran.

To them, they are the only innocent group. A "no true scotsman" argument. Nothing can get in. They are perpetual victims. They can make no choices and hold no positions of authority. This is a lie, obviously, but it is a lie constructed for one thing - to never take responsibility for their actions. To never be held accountable.
