I don't think there's anything wrong in the message that Disney sends kids. They teach you to work for your dreams, but even princesses need help sometimes. It's not bad to ask for help. No one can do EVERYTHING on their own. Sleeping Beauty was unconscious. There wasn't anything she could do. Like excuuuuuse her.
omg ikr
People that complain that Snow White and Aurora don't do anything really bug me, because we only see a bit of Aurora, and she finds out basically everything in her life was a lie, and then she's put to sleep, like GOSH, what a horrible message she's sending.
And Snow White. Psssh. Let's not forget that her stepmother was trying to MURDER her, like goodness' sake, how dare she flee for her life. And she tries to keep a positive outlook throughout, and face it, she can boss those dwarfs around so she's showing them who's boss and stuff.
And Cinderella, too. She's a slave in her own home, basically, and goodness' sake, it's so wrong of her to want to escape it any way she can like going to the ball--even for one night.
And heaven's sake, we must all do everything on our own. You can't ask for help, sorry, that's wrong.
