So I made this hat and I’ve been thinking... would people buy something like this on a commission basis? I don’t think I could feasibly run an Etsy shop or anything, but I could probably do one or two per week! I’m most adept with hats but could also do scarves, ear warmers, etc.

okay I need help Can anyone point me towards a good place to purchase a San Fransokyo Ninjas hat like Tadashi's? I've tried Amazon and eBay but neither seem reliable enough/don't have the right color/take too long to send. So if anyone could tell me of a good place/someone I can commission it to?

Hello everyone! I’m taking hat and plushie commissions. If you’d like a cute handmade hat or plushie then please keep reading!

The Hats

My hats are made of fleece, have felt or fleece details stitched on, and are lined with cotton. The hats fit most since they have a bit of stretch and are about 24 inches in circumference. The designs of my hats are based on animals but you can request specific animal-like characters or your own characters. You can see more examples of hats at my Esty shop.

The base price for a hat is $25. (+$3 shipping)

The Plushies

My plushies are made of fleece, have felt or fleece details stitched on, and are stuffed with 100% polyester filling. They are loaf shaped and the standard size is 3.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches long. Like the hats, the designs of my plushies are based on animals but you can request specific animal-like characters or your own characters. You can see more pictures of the loaf plushies at my Etsy shop.

The base price for a plushie is $30. (+$6 shipping, more if larger size requested)

Customization Options

Animal type/character: You can pick just about any animal or character you want! If a specific character is requested please provide me with a reference picture.

Fleece color: Want a pink kangaroo plush? A blue polka dotted unicorn hat? No problem! I can find just about any color and certain patterns within reason.

Cotton color and pattern (for hats): Hats are lined with cotton. The options are nearly endless so just let me know what you’d like and I’ll try to find something that fits. Examples- purple stars, yellow stripes, fuchsia butterflies, etc.

Face detail colors: Your plush or hat can have a specific eye, mouth, nose, blush, etc color. If this is not specified then the facial features will be black and blushes/tongues will be pink.

Expression: You can have anything from an angry cat plush to a mischievous llama hat. Let me know what mood your hat or plush should be in.

Size: Examples- a baby sized hat, a pillow sized plush. Any specific size or dimensions can be requested. If this is not specified then the hat or plush will be made in the standard sizes.

Note that the complexity of the design and/or a size change will add $5 - $15 to the base price. I’ll tell you the exact price when I get the order details.

Payment

I accept PayPal. I can also fulfill orders through Esty.com by setting up a custom listing. You can use the checkout system on Etsy and pay with a credit or debit card, as well as PayPal.

I’ll reply with the final price and a colored sketch of what the hat/plush would look like. I’ll also let you know how long it will take for me to make the hat/plush (I make orders on a first come first serve basis). Once the price and design sketch is approved by you, I’ll provide the email address you’ll send the payment to via PayPal, or set up a custom listing on Etsy and link it to you.

Other Info

My hats and plushies are made in a pet-free, non-smoking home. The polyester filling in the plushies is Poly-Fil brand and non-allergenic according to the packaging.

Hello followers and everyone else~! I could do with a little extra money to help some friends get to Colossal Con, so I figured this would be a good time to open commissions on these things! I've gotten lots of asks about them, so now is the time to get yourself one of your very own!

These beanies are completely customized with a design of your choice (two color limit). It can be fandom related or not, doesn't much matter to me! The base price for one of these is going to be $30, though this could go either up or down some depending on what you want!

Here's how it works!

1) Send me an ask telling me what you want. You can include a link to your design or just tell me what to search. ALSO, you can choose between this hat and this hat for your base, though the second one will incur an additional $3 fee because for some reason Amazon wants to charge me extra for the shipping on those

2) I'm going to have to ask to be paid in advance so that I can order/buy all of the materials. The price break down is as follows -

    hat - $5     other materials $10     shipping - $5     work time - $10

3) I'll do my damndest to finish everything I've got lined up and have it sent out as soon as I can. I'd like to have them sent out by colossal con (June 6th-9th), but that's very dependant on how quickly Amazon ships me the hats to work with

4) When I'm done I'll show you a picture to make sure it's all done the way you want, then you can send me your address and soon A HAT will arrive!
