Starting my mission of drawing all the utdr characters I think I can draw without ruining with doing the more simple designs en masse:

Day one:

Pink guy is Little Ball, orange guy is Ficus Licker, mouse thing is Hat Monster, eyeball girl is Shambling Mass, red circle is C Round, Blue guy is Jigsaw Joe, spiky haired white thing is Mr. Elegance, and white circular thing is Ponman.

Jfc I love your art so much! A question for the Mun with the Monster Hat for a change: does it speak on its own? If it does, what does it say?

Otis can’t communicate without the thrall, and even talking TO the thrall is an ordeal that involves more “feel my will and do my bidding” than actual words.

Thrall’s never actually heard his voice before.

Tell us more about the parasitic relationship between the monster clothing and the humans, both you and Adah! Pretty please?

Agyle and Otis (Hat Monster) are two different types of parasites but lets do this!

Adah is stuck in that hideous sweater and scarf, Argyle won’t let her remove the clothing, period, because once she does he goes dormant again until he finds another host. (Showers suck, they compromise eventually) She eventually agrees to help him and he in turn does all he can for her. (And a truce...their relationship was... ....bad starting off). Argyle’s saliva has healing properties, and he also makes it a point to protect Adah in whatever way he can. They have to come to an understanding and mutual agreement, because as difficult and painful as Argyle can make her life, Adah is the only reason he’s active. and they both know it.

The thrall is similarly stuck wearing the hat at all points, but the perks/drawbacks are a different beast alltogether. Otis is a demon of written knowledge, and all he knows, they can know just by thinking about it. Otis is careful to not let them go too far down the rabbit hole, though. He can also just do a manual override and control the thrall, even kill the thrall and use the body if he wanted, but they have an agreement that as long as the thrall is alive and willing to help him, they get to keep their free will. Otis protects the thrall and can even use the ink tendrils to modify or reshape parts of the thrall to suit a given purpose (Claw hands for combat or lengthening legs for added height for example)

In both cases, a being (Spirit, demon, ect) is bound to the article of clothing and left to rot. The clothing is dormant when not attached to a host, and once on a host will not be removed unless the host dies or an outside force removes it. The parasite/clothing does all it can to protect the host and to ensure they live a long and mostly okay life. The similarities end there, though.

As for use...they have many. Most do tasks their commanders can't, or won't do, or go where they can't/won't.
