so since the delanceys and williams sisters are established as close friends now, what shenanigans have they gotten into
So. Many. Shenanigans.
I think they’d pull pranks on the Newsies. All the time. It would mostly be Lucy’s ideas. And this would mostly take place in modern AU, I think. And they Delancey’s and the boys would all kind of be rivals in that sense.
In canon, I feel like Lucy would eventually warm up to the Delanceys and then warm up to the boys. And she’d love to mess with them. She would love to steal hats. I feel like she’d often to it to Jack. She’d just come up behind him and steal his hat and he’d have to chase her around until she hid behind the Delanceys.
I don’t think Jack would mind playing around with her but he’d hate it when she brought the Delanceys into it.
The would definitely steal Race’s cigar all of the time. The Delanceys would teach the girls how to pickpocket. Betsy would get really good at it. She’d never use it to actually steal money or anything, she’d just do it to poke fun at people. Lucy would love to play hide and seek around the city. She would love to hide behind the Newsies and hide from the Delanceys and she’d love to explore (as @sarcastic-ace-artist has mentioned before 😂). Betsy would be really good and finding her but the Delanceys would always have trouble.
