Kanto Travels || Kris & Lyra

Kris walked into the Pokemon Day Care just outside of Goldenrod City in the early morning. She had only been to the place a handful of times, never finding much use for it. A majority of those times had comes from her just visiting Lyra after she inherited the place from her grandparents. She respected her friend for that, taking on the responsibility of a business once her grandparents had passed on. Kris wasn’t sure if she would have done the same in her shoes. Or, really, if she could have handled it.

It was a lot to just randomly inherit. Lyra had been so busy since it happened. She took it in stride, but Kris knew that she needed a break. Lyra had received the news of her grandparents’ death during her journey through Kanto. She never got to see half of the region. It seemed only fair to give Lyra the chance to see what she missed, and only fair to give her some time to relax and enjoy herself.

Kris spotted Lyra behind the Day Care’s front desk. She flashed her friend a smile, approaching the desk. “Heyyy! How are you? You ready to go yet?”
