I love doing these color gradients on the handle. I've always enjoyed mixing paint. In fact mixing paint colors may be more enjoyable to me than the actual painting. There's something very relaxing and rewarding about creating colors this way...not just picking a pantone choice in illustrator...somehow I always end up with paint on my elbows or some weird place though.
