Ryder had not anticipated the Spankoffski brother's apartments turning into some kind of second home for him. He spends a large amount of time there when he is not in school or doing the usual high school senior activities. It comes as no surprise, though, that he is far more comfortable lingering around the apartment than he is quietly existing at his father's home. No matter if the man is home or not. It has come to the point that Pete doesn't even have to be with him for the young Dunbar to show up. He practically lets himself in, as well, before making himself comfortable.
@hatchethawked never seems to mind when he comes home to find Ryder in the living room or the kitchen. A new semi-permanent fixture in their lives and homes now.
"I don't think you'll be able to do it." The words come with Ted's second attempt at pulling him away from his spot on the couch. In true younger sibling fashion, Ryder has chosen to go limp and dead weight to make the process harder. He remains stubbornly impassive to the older's attempts at moving him: Half carrying, half dragging him away from the couch. "This is kind of pathetic, man."
