GRR i hate the mindset of “this is a kids game, if you don’t want minors to interact, don’t play!” bc like??? no?? for several reasons??

i like playing roblox. i love dressing up my little avatar and playing tycoons and obbies and such! i used to play it when i was a kid, so there’s so much nostalgia in going back and playing it! BUT that doesn’t mean i want children trying to befriend me.

i’m not walking into a daycare, getting mad children are there, and trying to kick them out, i’m playing a social game where there happen to be children, and i’m simply asking them to not interact.

and besides!! adults don’t suddenly lose interest in everything “childish” as soon as we hit 18!! taxes and jobs don’t suddenly become our hobbies just because we’ve left the target demographic for previous ones.

don’t even get me started on the fact that 99% of the time dni doesn’t LITERALLY mean “do not interact”, but “i don’t want to have consistent or meaningful interactions with you”.

I adore that you allow (the coolest person in-universe) Alessa to be girly and never portray that as neither a weakness of hers nor as a trait to disparage her with as the author. I looove her sm but I also love you for portraying your woman character that way. ❤️❤️

There's nothing weak about liking jewelry and elegant gowns. There's nothing wrong with wanting your hair brushed and underlining your eyes with dark paint. There's nothing to mock for appreciating beauty.

Alessa is one of the most ruthless characters I've ever written, pragmatic to the point of near-cruelty, and she also happens to enjoy feeling pretty. It's rare she ever gets the chance, but when she does, she seizes it. That's just Alessa.
