Honestly watching purple hearts pissed me off, like it was literally military propaganda because there is no way you change your entire opinion on an institution based on your feelings for 1 person. Also, I feel like they thought that making one of their characters hispanic gave their statement some sort of validity but it doesn't. You can clearly see they want you to think the military is actually good when its not. Idk I have many thoughts

yes yes and yes!!!!!! i watched it bc i heard it was abt a fake marriage and i eat that shit UP so i was like hell yes lets go. and then i saw how anti-military cassie was and was like HELL YES LETS GO!!!!!!!! but then halfway thru the movie she becomes this weird pro-army wifey and i just 😐 LIKE WHAT!!! how are u gonna crumble THAT fast??? her backbone was nonexistent it was so fucking embarrassing
