Closed starter for Bo ( @urdamage )
Copper was angry with his dads. While he was away, they had been keeping the murders and attacks that had been going on in Shrike Heights from him, and it was only when he returned home that he had learned about them. And even now, he was still learning more, and what he was discovering what horrifying. Why was this happening? And what could they do about it? Maybe he shouldn't have been surprised to discovered that with the frequency of the attacks, people he knew and cared about had been targeted. Thankfully his dads and siblings were okay, but friends and acquaintances, people Copper had known his entire life, hadn't been so lucky.
One of those people was Bo, who'd been one of Copper's closest friends before leaving for Seattle. Even after he'd left, he'd see Bo every time he came home and talk to him frequently, and they'd stayed close despite the distance. But then something changed a couple of years ago, and Bo had grown distant. Copper hadn't known why, and then with everything that had happened a year ago, he hadn't exactly been making an effort either. Most days, Copper had been struggling just to keep going, though he'd begun reaching out to certain people - Bo included - after he'd begun getting his life together. Now that he was back, Copper wanted to check in with Bo. He had seen his friend at the mall a couple of times, always at a distance, so Copper had surmised that his friend worked there too. After asking around, Copper discovered which store Bo worked at, and now he walked into Showtime, looking around. It didn't take long for him to find Bo restocking some VHS tapes, and he immediately smiled at the sight of his friend. For a moment, it was like no time had passed at all, and he rushed over there and pulled Bo into a sudden hug. "Hey buddy!" Copper exclaimed, laughing. "Long time no see." Releasing Bo after a few minutes (had Bo even seen who it was before Copper's unexpected hug?), Copper beamed at the his friend; he was so happy to see him again. "Shit, I missed you," he said, realizing just how much that was true.
