Hatesphere - Can of worms
Most of you need to listen to more extreme metal. If you feel that bands such as Lamb of God, Linkin Park, Mastodon or even Fear Factory (perennial newbie-friendly recommendations for getting into "harder" metal for now 20, 25, 21 and 30 years, respectively) don't really cut it for you and you're sick and tired of In Flames, At The Gates and Tool fans being like that (you know what I fucking mean), how about some delicious danish dynamite? ---- Hatesphere have always been one of the most workmanlike bands I've come across. One of the bands where I played during my teens supported them across a couple of short runs. One summer slot on support for Ballet of the Brute, which includes this groovy ditty...
And another short run during early 2005 supporting the released of an EP named The Killing which served as stopgap between BotB and what is my favorite album of their early years, The Sickness Within
(Yes, I got a screenshot from their Encyclopædia Metallum/The Metal Archives entry, shut up) ---- Legitimately, any of their first 5 records is a guaranteed banger, can't recommend them enough. Hopefully now that Pepe (main guitarist, sole remaining founding member and chief songwriter) joined Dark Tranquillity, more people outside Europe and Eastern Asia will finally start listening to them, similarly to how Josh Middleton's tenure with Architects brought a bunch of fans over to Sylosis' camp.
Entries 209 & 210 transferred. 2604 remaining.
