     Nathaniel was quick to catch Cordelia around her middle and turn her away from her sibling as he continued to walk out of the therapy session. He'd have to note in his file that he was refusing treatment and that the likelihood of him returning to Hydra was high, but he could at least keep there from being a bloodbath that ended in who knows how many harmed for being between the two for now.  “ Hey now, let’s not do this here please! ” he said as he blocked her with his body, stupid and dangerous but his job came with risk.  “ You don’t have to follow him, or be like him, twins or not, you make your own decisions Cordelia, don’t let him pull you down. ”

He wanted to tell his sister no, that it was a silly feeling and to push it away, but as they sat side by side on the couch, watching the fire roar, everyone else out with someone they loved doing something they love, he found himself too tired to lie, or dismiss her feeling, he wouldn’t really have wanted that anyway. He put his arm around her and pulled her against his shoulder, putting his head on hers. “I think about it. Something violent and awful that might make me feel more... just more.. or something awful enough that others might care. Not you Lila, you have always been good to me, kind. And not Chris because we both know he would only feel bad for himself. But mother, Hans, my true father even. 1) In every place, in every verse there is a man and a lighthouse a Lina and a Lila. Usually they’re close. The exception being Earth-87491 where Lina only met the twins as competition and they were ended early on.

2) Lina and Lila have both had feelings for each other but every time they’ve been close, every time they’ve started to explore those feelings, Lila has been distracted by or starts chasing after some guy. Because of that, Lina has been the one to be hurt over and over again.

3) Lina’s relationship with Christoph was one part comfort and one part trying to smother her feelings for Lila by taking what she saw as the next best thing.

4) In the HP verse when Lina was away, it was the thought of Lila and Mushroom Pies that got her through each day. They’re her favorite food purely for sentimental reasons.

5) Someday, one of them will die and the other will have to live on. The other will likely speak to herself as if the other was there, leave her space at a table, leave her room in a picture, think of what the other would say and do were she there, and eventually, die of a broken heart.

It was hard for her to keep from relishing in her torment against the other blonde. She watched the fear cross her face and shook her head. "I thought you'd be happy without him tying you down. You're free now Cordelia. Isn't that what you wanted. I did this for you."
