i’m gonna keep updating the new sprites/refs as i figure stuff out but here’s what i have for them currently! seriously reworked a lof of arc 5 designs bc i am getting an increasingly vivid idea of them. i am planning to do actual splash images of these six in more characterful poses this time around + write proper profiles for them On the images so stay tuned for those. and i have some fresh new final boss forms for the antags that i need to do >:3
also rose doesn’t have a design for arcs 3-5 bc i have to think abt what happens at the climax of arc 2 and design some other stuff before i commit to her final design. stay tuned x2

also the eidolon is still kind of there After lilac’s character development too. she’s a natural part of her psyche she’s just less totally dysfunctional now that lilac is working through her Issues. more importantly though she IS touring the facility and picking up slack

it’s jan 4 but this is a new years kiss drawing. i love them

new arc 5 outfit redesign for lilac just dropped. i know i keep changing it but i think i’m happy with this one! i think it fits her personality much better than the previous ones i’ve tried and feels more unique from the arc 1-4 look. allows me to keep the sort of subdued and structured aesthetic while also making it more light and open, and i am finally happy with the color palette (the color gold is pretty important as a secondary color for her so i’m glad i found out a way to keep the golden tones + i think this handling of the purple is much more aesthetically pleasing). i’m keeping her hair pretty short here too bc she’s still kind of exploring things and doesn’t want to change it super drastically yet (and also i think it’s cute). if i change anything after this i’ll probably make her dangly earrings bigger but i want to wait until i find a distinct shape/symbol i like for them.
also yeah! i changed the colors on the arc 1-4 design too. how desaturated can i go (the pupil color is grayer too. the colored pupils ARE just a stylistic thing and not diegetic but in my head they get more saturated the more genuine or emotional linden gets. and then lilac has them fully saturated all the time)
i think i’m gonna do a little bit of redesigning for the other two antagonists’ arc 5 looks too… the more i imagine them in that arc, the more i get some new ideas for them. ambrose too… i wanna rework his design a bit. he’s still gonna be the little gremlin man we know and love i just wanna give his clothes and hair an update.
oh yeah i’m officially changing lavender’s name to Lilac! because i like it better, “lila” is a cute nickname, and it goes better with “lucas” imo. and it’s still purple and a flower
