When you're just done, you're just done

Do you know that moment when you've put up for so long, and you just can't anymore? I know that moment. I know that moment for every second of my life. I feel that from everyone. Nobody seems to treat me like I'm a human being. Even my best friend betrays me behind my back. Hell, they ALL betray me even in front of my face. In general, I'm a pretty nice girl. I try not to be mean and rude to people. Every now and then when I'm cranky and somebody is getting on my nerves, I will snap. Aside from that, I'm sweet. But people take that for granted. They assume that no matter what shit they do to me, I will still love them and be nice. And I am. And nobody really appreciates me. And I am almost sure that the pants of everyone who "likes" me are on fire. I'm done being pushed around. I'm done being stepped on. I'm done being the nice girl. I'm gonna be assertive. (That's my ice cream!) I'm not going to settle for crap anymore. If you're mean to me, I will be mean back. I hate this world.
