Ok so the door to the creepy haunted attic in my dorm was still open last time I went past. Since it's a college dorm maybe if I leave some pizza up there the ghost won't screw with me?

That kind of thing worked at the store, we left the aisles that the ghost hung out on clean and she left us alone.

Ohio University

Ohio University in Athens, Ohio was established in 1804 and is one the most haunted colleges in America. The most infamous building on campus is Wilson Hall which IS apparently located in the middle of a pentagram that consists of five local cemeteries. It is said that at Wilson Hall in room 428 someone died mysteriously in the 1970s and you can hear footsteps and things move on their own. Because of so many reportings the room has been closed off and not given to any new students. Before the room was closed off however, a girl supposedly died due to occult practices. On different floors in the building students report doors being locked trapping them inside, giggling in the hallway, and lights turning on by themselves.  Legend has it that Wilson Hall was built on top of a sacred Native American burial ground and while trying to confirm this a group of researchers discovered that Wilson Hall is located on top of a graveyard of the Athens Mental Institute. Wilson Hall is has had so many claims of paranormal activity that it was even featured on a television show, Scariest Places on Earth.

Sun, Feb 25- 2:00AM

At exactly 2:00AM Sunday morning, I woke up to a flash that lit up the entire room -- similar to that of a camera. The bright light came from the opposite side of the room in the middle of Ethan’s bed. My back was facing the flash, and I rolled over just before it ended. What freaked me out the most was that Ethan was facing toward it, but did not wake up or even seem bothered at all by the light. I told Ethan about it and he basically disregarded it because it did not seem ghost-related at all.

Mon, Feb 26- 1:17AM

The next morning, I woke up to texts from Ethan saying that he experienced the same thing during the night. At first, he thought it was his roommate taking a picture on snapchat with the front-facing camera flash on, but quickly realized that his roommate was sound asleep -- snoring and all. Ethan recalled that the bright light came from the opposite side of the room, and at approximately the middle of the wall. He described it as if he had just looked into a bright phone screen. 

The creepiest part about our separate encounters is that we experienced the same thing, but the flash was seen in two different areas. In my case, I was sleeping on the futon and saw the flash come from Ethan’s bed; however, Ethan was sleeping on his bed and saw the flash come from the futon. This might not be paranormal, but it is definitely worth noting.

Another point is that this took place in Ethan’s room which is on a completely different floor than mine (where most of the paranormal activity takes place). Is the ghost attaching itself to me & Ethan or is this just a figment of our imagination?!!??!?!

Random true story, My dorm is haunted. Not just this room but the whole building. my second night here, my roommate was asleep and I heard a small giggle in the room, by her closet. It was way to close to me to be coming from the open window. sometimes I feel a heaviness in the hall at night if I go to the bathroom. Its kind of freaky. I’ve been living here for a month now and nothing has happened but I keep my Bible close by just in case.
