I am amazed at how descriptive this book is, Silvia Moreno- Garcia has so beautifully written this novel, as a reader I was terrified and thrilled. 😱👻 ~ This story is about Noemi Taboada, a glamorous young girl from Mexico City. When Noemi receives a letter from her newly wed cousin Catalina from High Place, begging to be rescued from a mysterious doom, it is clear to Noemi that her cousin is in danger and she sets out her mission to rescue her cousin from her mysterious husband. Noemi’s stay at High Place is filled with unusual, terrifying, paranormal activities. 😳 ~ I loved the writing, exceptional! I loved the characters, I loved the balance of glamour and bizarre.
