ooo, I haven't heard anything about the traps being functional, tbh I'd be a bit surprised if they were tho? (in terms of like. being made to full functionality?) also yeah reverse bear trap easily the most metal bit ough.
i looked it up cause i wasn't totally sure i had it right and i didn't, it's not all the traps! just the reverse bear trap! apparently it was fully functional and lethal in the 2003 saw, and there was a disabled one used in the 2004 film.
