So fan theory suggestion..... the elves were killed with light magic, and it’s heavily implied the first magic emperor did it. But we’ve also see Patri uses light magic as well. He was also the only elf that wasn’t happy that Licht was marrying Tetia. You also never see him in any of the replays of the elf massacre. What if he committed the elf massacre so humans and elves wouldn’t live in harmony and the elves would wipe out the humans?
We did see his point of view here during chapter 148;
So I highly doubt it was Patri who did it, he worked so hard to revive everyone so they could get revenge on how they were wronged by the humans. He was beginning to accept them, the page before this he went on about how Elves and Humans could possibly live together in peace.
The whole chapter basically proves to us it wasn’t him who did it. So rather then the first WK, it could’ve been someone related to him and Tetia - someone else who used Light Magic.
