Hav A Sole: ‘Sole’cially Conscious Sneakerheads

(HighImpactSociety.com) Southern California based nonprofit, Have A Sole, is giving back to underprivileged America one pair of sneakers at a time. The organization has been distributing new and gently used shoes to homeless individuals and at-risk youth in communities across the nation since 2014.

With assistance from compassionate volunteers and strategic partners such as Nike, Hav A Sole continues to excel in their philanthropic efforts.  

The main goal of the charitable group is not only to provide shoes for those in need, but to also promote good hygiene, prevent disease that arises due to poor foot care and encourage a foundation of service throughout society. With these principles in mind, Hav A Sole will carry on a legacy of altruism.

According to the company website, Rikki Mendias, who is no stranger to adversity, founded the nonprofit and is very much involved in the daily operations. The Managing Partner, Dash Penland, and Business Manager, Wendy Adamson, contribute to the team greatly as well. All are dedicated to the distribution process, community outreach, coordinating events, securing partnerships and making a high impact in the lives of others.

In addition to the main staff, Hav A Sole has recently adopted Los Angeles, REAL 92.3 Radio Personality, Ayyde, as a ‘Hav A Sole Ambassador.’ The nonprofit continues to welcome an increasing number of supporters from all walks of life including local influencers, members of the community and celebrities like Karrueche Tran who has been known to volunteer with the organization from time to time.
