Roxy never really knew when a panic attack would strike. There were times she knew she would have one, but most of the time she didn’t know what triggered them. Sometimes, she suspected, that they weren’t triggered by anything specific but simply an overflow from her usual habit of bottling up most of her negative emotions.
Perhaps it was the lingering scent of cigarette smoke that wafted up through the open window from several floors below. Roxy probably wouldn’t know. All she knew was that she found herself huddled on the floor against the couch with her arms wrapped around herself as she struggled to regulate breath that refused to slow and a heartbeat that thundered almost painfully against her ribs.
guy I been speaking to for literally 3 days sent me a picture of his cat and said ‘you’ll be meeting her soon though’ why does this give me the ick?? I love cats. I love to meet cats. is it too soon to make that assumption or am i just pretending to be interested in wanting to meet a man
When I was buying my first car, I set the appointment in the morning, because I had to be at work that afternoon. But by the time I actually made it to the office of the finance guy, it was almost time for work. I started getting really stressed, and I asked if I could come back the next day, because I had work. He said sure, and my mom took me to work, and I got there just in time.
The next morning, my mom took me back to the dealership and I met with the finance guy again to finish signed papers and take the car home.
He said that his boss saw me leave without the car the day before, and thought it was because of money, so he instructed the finance guy to give me a $200 discount when I came back.
I was like, "uh....I literally just had to go to work, but sure! Ill take that!"
