There were more people who liked her for her potential and less for what she did at the time. She was still consistently portrayed as a bad-guy in fics then too. If you compared Lilanette content to content depicting Lila as a bad person, there were significantly more portraying her as a bad person. They didn’t really appreciate how she acted and often took her actions into account. There were definitely a lot less things in general relating to her then though because they didn’t really care that much about salt and fix-its and various bullying scenarios at the time.

I’m well-aware of the various racist things that have occured in this fandom and personally have been offended as a person of color quite a few times. I could give u a list of things if i wanted to but that was entirely besides the point I was trying to make. I didn’t say she was a poc I said she could kinda potentially be considered one but not really, i am sorry if that might have been offensive, but like if u look at chloe and lila and then the way they animated marinette the character who’s supposed to be multiracial mmmMM I’ve also been vehemently against Alya and Marinette salt literally always, idk what 2 tell u

I’m not validating Lila’s actions, but I am saying Felix has done things that were just as bad as some of the things she did and people chose to ignore that and proceeded to do some borderline horrific things to Lila. I would actually argue him forcing a kiss on Ladybug just to mess with Adrien is even worse than some of the things she did. But no, he’s just an “angry babey”.

Both Lila and Felix were of arguably sound mind and willingly agreed to work with Hawkmoth. They both sexually assaulted someone. The harassment of the male got ignored. The harassment of the female got romanticized. They both also willingly put Adrien in danger.

We did hate Gabriel because he was terrible to Adrien back then, but Felix wasn’t exactly any better either, he tried to wreck everything and take his friends away. Which Lila also tried to do to Marinette, so yes, they kinda are a bit similar.
