I cried about this, so you can too.
As most of us know, one of the writers who worked on Good Omens, Rob Wilkins, recently said something about The Kiss scene, and about the many emotions and expressions that Aziraphale was going through after they pulled away.
Basically, after The Kiss one of the many expressions on Aziraphale's face said something along the lines of (and I am not quoting Rob Wilkins here.): "Do it again. Please, do it again." But instead of Aziraphale saying that we got his whole "I forgive you" thing that he does and then Crowley left.
I am so, so deeply upset to be honest, because now we know what his expression afterwards meant, and we know that he couldn't say it ("do it again") out loud because it WASNT SAFE (Imo).
Which was the whole thing they did throughout history and throughout Season One, they had to be so secretive because they were friends, but still technically on "opposite sides", and now it hurts because we had to see that whole thing they do with the whole: "I can't be honest about how I feel about you because They (heaven, hell, in this case, Metatron Metabitch, etc.) might be listening and/or find out.".
And now it hurts even more to see that again at the end of Season Two after they've finally settled down a bit and got comfortable with not hiding it anymore. And it really hurts when you think about the fact that we are probably going to have to see that again during Season Three (fingers crossed we get one).
Note: I'm so sorry if none of this made sense, I'm a shit writer and I can't explain things in writing for the life of me so I'm hoping to God that this all made sense. This post was also originally just a rant I sent to one of my friends, to which then I thought it would probably fit here. So yeah, there's that.
