I'm missing India a lot at the moment. Mostly because I'm working out if I can afford the time to slide over for a few weeks for a pals wedding. It's not the sort of place you can rush being in - so going for just a few weeks isn't really worth it. It's somewhere to sink into. See pals for a few weeks in Bangalore, then a few in Kerala, then perhaps a couple of weeks in Goa and perhaps a trip up to the mountains... and before you know it, you can't possibly go for less than three months... and that's not going to work with the timezones and all those Masterminds I have to run. Reason it takes so long in India, is that apart from the amazing culture, beautiful places, deep friends I want to properly absorb... it just takes such a long time to move about. Rush hour is just one step above grid lock. Look at this pic for instance - this is about 4pm on the road near where I used to live. Big road, lots of people going home from their work in fancy teach companies. To drive downtown takes about 2 hours this time of day (rising to over 2.5 at full traffic rush-hour). but it's not actually that far - at midnight, the whole trip only takes 20 minutes. Having farm vehicles and water drop off going on in the middle of it all (and the occasional cow, as well of course) doesn't help. So this pic is a reminder of all that I love and all that irks me about travelling there. Lots to see... and a looooong time to get a really good view at it as you'll be stuck in traffic for a long time. #india #tractor #traffic #accountability #getShitDone #haveFunWhileYouDoIt #Entrepreneur #CEO #entrepreneur #startup #business #Mastermind #Masterminding #inspiration #coaching #training #change #startup #digitalNomad #workFromAnywhere #LocationIndependent #beautyIsEverywhere #lifeIsGood (at Whitefield Bangalore - India)
