Nathaniel sits quietly flipping through a book in his home office when the door is swung open, looking up he sees his partner standing in the doorway. Nathan stand up greeting Vivienne quickly
“Hey, how was your appointment? Are you in any pain?” He ask looking his wife up and down, trying to find any signs of discomfort
“I-I never did it,” Vivienne responds her head hanging low, her eyes red and puffy from what looked like crying
“What do you mean?”
“I never terminated it. Actually I left,” Vivienne explains to him, slowly finding his eyes
“Why not? You said a child isn’t what you want right now?” Nathaniel questions
“I thought so too until I saw a family there. For a moment I imagined myself and in that moment, I knew I couldn’t do it,” She confesses, looking back down as she started fidgeting with her fingers
“You were so bent on not having kids” Nathaniel exclaims, his hand starts lightly shaking from anxiety. He couldn’t believe it
“I realized I was wrong,”
“That’s a sudden mind change, are you sure this is what you want?” Nathaniel tries to confirm - Vivienne has been particular about her pregnancy and the sudden change of mind had Nathaniel questioning
“It wouldn’t hurt to try. We could go to counseling or therapy. We could make this work” Vivienne looked up to see Nathan reaction
Nathaniel smiles, caressing her cheek and brushing her hair out of her face. As much as he wanted to enjoy this and be excited, part of him wonder if Vivienne did this because of him.
“You're not changing your mind because of me right? You actually want this?”
“No of course not! I was scared..but m-maybe a baby wouldn’t be so bad for us,” Vivienne smiles looking for Nathan reaction
“Are you being serious?”
“Yeah I am, I guess it just took me a second to realize,”
“So we are going to have a baby?” Nathaniel face brightens
“We are going to have a baby” Vivienne smiles, wrapping her arms around his neck
“We are going to be parents!”
“OMG, we are going to be parents,” Vivienne spoke anxiously, looking at Nathaniel. He smiles in adoration, leaning down to peck her lips
